We don't know each other.

And even if we did, we'd never tell you that we know how you feel. Or that we know what you’re going through. We can’t know because it’s your experience—your life. It’s different for everyone. But we do understand.

We understand because we’re also learning to live with our mental health problems. We understand because we’ve also lost people to mental health problems. All we can say is you're not alone, you matter, and help is available when you need it.

Note of Support

And if you’re wondering why Beanie Babies

It’s personal. And a long story. But sometimes items that should trigger happy memories no longer do. And for too long, these toys have been a reminder of the mental health problems that two people we loved lost themselves in.

But we don’t want that meaning or those memories to be connected to these toys any longer. We want them to mean something hopeful—for you, for us, for anyone who finds them. Please keep the one you have with you safe and close to your heart. There is always hope, there is always a path forward, and there are always people in this world who believe in you.
